Doug Abram

Doug Abram is a saxophonist and graphic artist from Chicago. He grew up in an artistic family and received a B.A. in illustration and design from Columbia College Chicago in 1998. He founded the Black Bear Combo in 2001 and continues to rock it with them. He has also performed with Hungry March Band, Himalayas, Lovely Little Girls, Pet Peeve, the Steve McKay Ensemble and many other bands and has produced screenprinted posters for a large number of concert events. He has never owned a car and lives in Logan Square with his wife Sarah. View more of Doug’s work.
