Twelfth Street Brass is a little New Orleans and a lot of funk. It was born in DC and raised on a diet of outrage and optimism. It does not know what it wants to be when it grows up, but intends to have a good time getting there.

Does your band consider itself an activist street band?

I don't think we consider ourselves anything.
