HONK! is a festival for activist street bands. The bands who come to this festival play in the streets, neighborhoods and schools. They are acoustic (no amplification). They work for social justice and to make the world a better place through their music and their actions. Please see our What is HONK!? page for more details. Here at HONK! Central, we only plan the HONK! festival. We don't serve as any sort of booking agency for any of the bands who come to our festival. Our best suggestion is to find the band you are interested in on our bands page and click on the band's webpage link to find out how to contact that band with your question.

HONK! is not like your average street fair. We want to keep the focus on the music so we don't have tables, vendors, food trucks or street performers. Sorry we can’t be more helpful. We hope you can come and enjoy the joyous energy of the event as a participant.
