We are an Open Band of Brass, Reeds, and Percussion, for people of all ages and levels of ability. We are not playing to get rich or to get famous, but to build community and share joy with each other and with our audiences. We operate in a democratic way that promotes artistic excitement. We will play in the streets for human rights, peace, justice, economic equality, community celebrations, or any other vision we support. We encourage musical expression both by being an Open Band, and also by pursuing interaction and music education with audiences at varying levels. We hope to bring music to public spaces as much as possible, playing free, guerrilla style and in the streets whenever we can. We aim to please when the cause is true and the time is right!
