Fun, loud and in the street! Minor Mishap Marching Band is a 25-35 piece unruly circus-punk-brass band: Rue Bourbon meets Budapest. We started on a wild hare, inspired by a love of street music, brass bands, and spectacle, as well as a desire to create community and reinvent public spaces. From its rag tag beginnings, it has grown to be a 35 member ensemble, performing all over Austin; New Orleans Mardi Gras Parades, and Honk Festivals. We also enjoy rocking school assemblies. Last year, Minor Mishap produced the first annual Honk!TX in Austin, TX. This Halloween: Minor Mishap presents Major Mayhem, a community parade where EVERYONE is invited to play music and join in the festivities.
