Lantern Workshops + Parades
Friday, lantern making workshops 4-6pm, parades from 7-9pm, in Hodgkins Park
We’re very excited to be bringing back last year’s Friday night lantern parades, teaming up with The Puppet Free Library, Parts & Crafts, and Spontaneous Celebrations to host light and lantern-making workshops with kids and adults! We’ll mix the nighttime sounds of HONK! with homemade lanterns, blinking bike lights, and the warm welcome of neighbors watching from their front porches around Hodgkins Park.
Come from 4:00 – 6:00pm to make your lantern. And at 7pm, 7 parades will leave Hodgkins Park…grab your lantern, find your favorite band, and join the parade! Follow the links to view the 2013 Lantern Parade routes:

- Lantern Parade #3 : Riverhawk Party Band (this is the shortest parade and might be best for younger children)
