Skunk

Skunk is a Somerville artist who was fortunate to have a renegade roving jam band from the first HONK! festival visit his house, which also served as the headquarters of SCUL bicycle chopper gang. It was his birthday. He welds repurposed steel sculpture under the name Skunkadelia: robot orphanage, raygun outfitter and used rocketship sales.

The high intensity energy of HONK! served as inspiration for the tenth anniversary illustration. Many of the figures were sketched from photos of performers of previous HONK!s. Skunk found great pleasure in getting back to his illustrative roots, and hopes to excite both participants and spectators to help make the tenth HONK! the best one yet.
