Plezi Rara is a new rara band formed in October of 2016 in Brooklyn, NY. Our talented musicians come from a wide range of musical backgrounds leading back to Haiti. They focus their hard work and dedication into mastering the craft of rara making their sound unique like no other band. Plezi Rara created a bond where they can not only speak to each other through their words, but also through the language of music. They’ve learned to express themselves, their thoughts, and their feelings through music. Plezi Rara has become so proficient in their artistry, that they can select music from other genres and backgrounds and translate them into rara.
