Saturday HONK! in Davis Square
Saturday, October 10, 2015
12:00PM, Opening Ceremony in 7 Hills Park
Come celebrate the official beginning of HONK! with the first horn blast, the HONK! Cantastoria, and the buzz and energy of over 25 brass bands converging on 7 Hills Park in Davis Square. For our tenth anniversary, join us as we reflect on HONK! past, present, and future. We’ll be celebrating HONK! communities near and far, recognizing the power of music and activism, and honoring the 10th anniversary of Katrina. Plus serving Giant Cake!
1:00PM – 9:00PM, Bands play all around Davis Square
Over 25 brass bands from around the world will fill the nooks and crannies of Davis Square. And dancers from the Original Big Seven Social Aid & Pleasure Club will roam the Square throughout the afternoon!
